OSP Construction Newsletter - All Residences Under Contract
The construction of One Spruce Peak is within its busiest phase as we move into the summer season. With all 27 units currently under contract, we are pleased to provide monthly updates on this exciting new addition to the Spruce Peak Community. As events and activities on property ramp up this summer, our team is excited to share our favorite moments with you.
The warm summer weather means additional progress for the construction of One Spruce Peak as well. “We are entering a new phase of the project as we apply finishes to both the interior and exterior of the building", says Bruce Malcolm, Vice President of Construction for One Spruce Peak. “We are going to see the true character of the residences emerge as we complete the drywall and head into fine carpentry and tile work. The color and texture of the building exterior have already begun to take form as we apply siding and trim.” As can be seen on our live webcam, this work is currently underway on the exterior of the building.
Drywall is being installed in the first phase of the building, the roof installation is currently underway, and windows are going in on the 6th and 1st floors. The exterior progresses by the day with the continued install of timber beams, columns and purlins as well as the tongue and groove decking. Beginning soon will be the installation of the elevators, excavation of the pool and completion of the exterior siding. “The level of activity on the job site will continue to ramp up through the summer,” says Malcolm. Despite this intensive installation work, construction tours are still available regularly with one of our experienced Sales Executives for those who wish to see the project up close.
Elsewhere, a partial mock-up of a One Spruce Peak kitchen is complete within The Lodge at Spruce Peak at our Real Estate Preview Center. This project features the materials and appliances that will eventually be installed within each One Spruce Peak kitchen area, and is available for public viewing. We invite you to make an appointment with your sales executive for a virtual tour, or come see it in person if you are in the area.
